Sanaa: The Heritage and Cultural Development Fund organized on Saturday a commemorative event marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. During the event, First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Acting Executive Director of the Fund, Dr. Issam Al-Sanini, highlighted the significance of celebrating the birth of the Prophet, describing it as a great blessing for the entire nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Sanini noted that commemorating the Prophet's birth serves as a spiritual and educational occasion to draw lessons from his noble life and to introduce the world to his righteous path-a path that enemies of Islam have long sought to distort and erase. He affirmed that, just as the Yemeni people supported, honored, and believed in the Prophet's message from its very beginning, they will continue to commemorate his birth despite aggression, blockade, and hardships.

Al-Sanini emphasized the importance of emulating the Prophet's example in deeds, ethics, and striving in the cause of God to confront the enemies of the nation and religion. He stressed that Yemen has preserved this tradition throughout history and, under the leadership of the Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, is restoring its central presence within the Islamic nation.

He further underlined the need to strengthen ties with the Prophet through supporting the oppressed, particularly the people of Gaza, who are enduring siege and starvation imposed by the Zionist entity amid disgraceful silence and complicity of Arab regimes.

The First Undersecretary called on all to assume their responsibility and actively mobilize for broad participation in the central event scheduled for the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal to mark the blessed anniversary of the Prophet's birth.
