Ibb: The Coordination Council of public and private universities, colleges, and institutes in Ibb Governorate discussed ongoing preparations for the major event marking the Prophet Mohammed's birthday (Mawlid). The meeting, led by Ibb University President Dr. Nasr Al-Hujaili, focused on arrangements to ensure the successful organization of the event.
According to Yemen News Agency, representatives from public and private higher education institutions and the Student Forum attended the meeting. They reviewed preparations for the event, which will be hosted by Ibb University, including the formation of various committees such as preparatory, organizational, health, reception, mobilization, and coordination committees.
Participants emphasized the importance of collective efforts to ensure the success of Mawlid activities. They highlighted the need to enhance student engagement and promote values inspired by the life and teachings of Prophet Mohammed, which would contribute to greater awareness and responsibility among students.
The attendees also called for ongoing coordination and readiness, urging the mobilization of student, academic, and administrative efforts. They stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation among public and private higher education institutions.
