Al-hodeida: The Higher Institute of Health Sciences in Al-Hodeida Governorate organized a speech event today commemorating the Mawlid al-Nabawi.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, emphasized that Yemenis' celebration of the Prophet's birth is rooted in their deep connection to the Messenger of God and his biography as a reference for understanding the nation's issues. He noted that the occasion comes as Yemen continues to face aggression and siege while maintaining its right to independence.
The event featured speeches highlighting the importance of linking the celebration to the Prophet's values of mercy, justice, and knowledge, rather than mere festivities. The institute's role in preparing healthcare cadres was also underscored, with students urged to combine academic achievement with the values of the Muhammadan message. The event included chanting, poetic recitals, and expressive segments.
