Historical Aggression on April 27: US-Saudi-Emirati Attacks Over the Years

Aden: On this day, April 27, numerous casualties and destruction of property were reported across several Yemeni governorates due to air and ground attacks by US-Saudi-Emirati forces. These assaults targeted populated areas, causing loss of life and significant damage to infrastructure.

According to Yemen News Agency, on April 27, 2015, airstrikes by the aggression's forces resulted in the death of citizen Younis al-Tayeb and his wife, while Ihab al-Tayeb and his wife sustained serious injuries when their building in the al-Qati' area of Crater District in Aden Governorate was completely destroyed. The attack also damaged several nearby homes.

In 2016, airstrikes targeted Mawza' District in Taiz Governorate. Meanwhile, mercenary forces launched rockets and artillery at Sirwah District in Ma'rib Governorate and shelled Usaylan District in Shabwah Governorate.

The following year, 2017, saw four air raids on the Al-Sawad area in Sanhan and Bani Bahloul districts in Sana'a Governorate, causing further damage to citizens' property and homes.

In 2018, a citizen was killed and two others injured by Saudi border guard fire in Shada District, Sa'ada Governorate. Additional injuries occurred from a missile attack in the Talan area of Haydan District. Saudi forces also launched artillery and missile attacks on various areas in Sa'ada Governorate, including Razih and Ghamr districts.

By 2019, the aggression's air force killed seven civilians, including children and women, in an attack on two cars in the Al-Awd area of Dhale' Governorate. Numerous airstrikes also targeted districts in Sana'a, Dhamar, Al-Mahwit, Hodeida, and Taiz governorates, damaging homes, farms, and residential areas.

In 2020, airstrikes continued with 15 raids on the Sarwah District and one on Majzar District in Marib Governorate. Mercenary forces in Hodeida established combat fortifications and targeted residential areas, causing widespread damage.

The aggression persisted in 2021 with airstrikes in the Al-Aqsha' and Al-Maraziq areas in Al-Jawf Governorate, and multiple attacks on the Sirwah District in Marib Governorate. Combat fortifications were established in Hodeida, with heavy bombardments in various areas.

In 2022, mercenary activities included the establishment of combat fortifications and artillery bombardments in Hodeida Governorate, further exacerbating the ongoing conflict.

Most recently, in 2024, a drone strike by mercenaries killed three women and two girls in the Al-Shajin village of Maqbanah District in Taiz Governorate. Saudi artillery shelling also targeted a home in Baqim District, Sa'ada Governorate, causing extensive damage.
