Historical Airstrikes Mark April 3 as a Day of Aggression and Loss

Sana'a: On this day, April 3, the aircraft of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression targeted, with a series of airstrikes, homes, villages, facilities, roads, and public and private properties, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded. According to Yemen News Agency, on April 3, 2015, nine citizens from one family, most of them women and children, were martyred and five others were injured due to airstrikes targeting Hajar Akkash village in Bani Matar District in Sana'a Governorate. Additionally, a citizen was martyred and four others were injured in Marran and Watlan in Haidan District in Saada Governorate due to airstrikes and artillery shelling. The border district of Shada faced similar airstrikes and missile shelling, while airstrikes targeted Al-Mashayekh subdistrict in Munabbih District, affecting Al-Tha'il market and Al-Hafra area. On April 3, 2016, airstrikes hit Al-Shurayjah in Lahj Governorate and Al-Aqaba in Al-Jawf Governorate, along with artillery shelling by mercenaries. Airstrikes continued in vari ous areas, including Al-Suhul in Ibb Governorate, Al-Wazi'iyah District in Taiz Governorate, and in Al-Taiziyah District, resulting in significant damage and loss of livestock. Airstrikes on April 3, 2017, killed nine citizens in Sirwah District in Marib Governorate and targeted several districts across Taiz, Sana'a, Hajjah, and Lahj Governorates. In 2018, airstrikes targeted Al-Dawshah in Munabbih District in Saada Governorate, resulting in casualties and damage across multiple districts. On April 3, 2019, an airstrike in Al-Wahbiyah District in Al-Bayda Governorate resulted in four deaths, with ongoing artillery shelling in other districts. In 2020, airstrikes claimed the lives of three children in Ghafira area in Al-Dhahir District in Saada Governorate, with additional airstrikes affecting various regions. In 2021, airstrikes were recorded in Madghal and Sirwah districts in Marib Governorate, as well as other districts in Al-Jawf and Al-Hodeida Governorates. On April 3, 2022, remnants of the aggression caused an explosion, killing three and injuring others in Al-Hazm District in Al-Jawf Governorate, with ongoing missile and artillery shelling in several governorates. By April 3, 2023, reconnaissance aircraft launched airstrikes on Hays District in Al-Hodeida Governorate, with mercenaries establishing fortifications and shelling multiple areas.
