Hodeida: The Hodeida governorate witnessed extensive public marches in 268 squares across its districts, denouncing the ongoing plots against the Palestinian people and reaffirming their unwavering support for Gaza. These demonstrations were held under the banner "Rejecting the Zionist-American Conspiracy... and Standing with Gaza Until Victory."
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Abdullah Atifi led the participants, who waved Yemeni and Palestinian flags while chanting slogans in solidarity with the Palestinian cause and Gaza against aggression and siege. The marchers voiced their opposition to the Trump plan, which they believe perpetuates occupation and seeks to expand control over Palestine and Gaza. They cautioned against aligning with the plan, viewing it as a tool for liquidating the Palestinian cause.
The participants criticized the alleged peace initiatives by normalization regimes that back the agendas of Trump and Netanyahu. They highlighted the exposure of Arab and Islamic regimes' positions that support the Zionist project, providing political cover for actions against Palestine and the resistance.
The demonstrators condemned the silence of Arab states regarding the crimes committed against Gaza, facilitated by American and Western support. This silence, they argued, reflects a tragic decline and subservience to the occupier's will. They lauded Yemen's leadership and armed forces for their support of Gaza, recognizing these efforts as a true representation of the nation's stance against occupation.
The people of Hodeida urged others to break the silence and take meaningful action against the cycle of shame, emphasizing that inaction amounts to complicity. They believe in the necessity of confronting the enemy, warning that divine punishment awaits those who remain passive.
The marchers praised the Yemeni Armed Forces' operations against the Zionist entity and their naval blockade, which they see as vital actions boosting Palestinian morale. They reaffirmed their commitment to follow the directives of their revolutionary leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and continue their struggle until victory for the Palestinian people is achieved.
A statement from the marches declared that Yemeni faith only strengthens amid challenges, reinforcing their belief in divine victory. It criticized the roles of America and the Zionist enemy, warning against expecting any good from their declarations or actions.
The statement concluded by calling for intensified efforts and recognition of the enemy's deceptive strategies, encouraging popular anger and action to ensure that the price of inaction does not fall on the people of these nations. It emphasized that victory is a divine promise destined to be fulfilled.
