Hodeida: Hodeida Corniche on Saturday evening saw a massive public festival commemorating al-Wilayah Day, under the slogan "Whoever I am his master, then this Ali is his master." Attended by Hodeida first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri and other leaders, the event featured chants, folk dances, and poems celebrating Imam Ali's virtues.
According to Yemen News Agency, al-Bishri called al-Wilayah Day a unifying faith-based event that strengthens identity and loyalty, noting it's crucial for protecting the nation from deviation and subservience to forces of tyranny and domination.
Speeches emphasized that the celebration reflects the people's deep connection to Imam Ali and serves as a call to return to divine justice.
