Hodeida Distributes School Uniforms and Bags to Deaf and Mute Students

Hodeida: Undersecretary of Hodeida province for Services Affairs Mohammed Halisi on Thursday launched the distribution of uniforms, school bags, and educational tools to male and female students at the Deaf and Hard of Hearing School in al-Mina district. The initiative aims to support the educational needs of these students.

According to Yemen News Agency, the distribution was funded by the Care and Rehabilitation Fund for the Disabled and carried out through the Deaf and Mute Association. Halisi praised the association for its efforts in supporting the needs of deaf and mute students and called upon benefactors to support the association and the school administration in their efforts to rehabilitate and empower these students.

The Chairman of the Deaf and Mute Association highlighted the association’s contributions to supporting the school and its students. The inauguration ceremony included creative performances by the school’s students, showcasing their talents and skills.

This initiative demonstrates the commitment of the local authorities and the community to supporting the education and well-being of children with disabilities.
