Hodeida: Supplementary exams for the Basic Education Certificate for the 1447 AH/2026 academic year were launched on Saturday in Hodeida governorate. At the launch, held at the Omar bin Al-Khattab exam center in Al-Hawak District and Al-Zubairi exam center in Al-Mina district, the head of the governorate's education sector, Omar Bahr, inspected the exam process, the level of discipline, and the arrangements in place for the first day of testing to ensure a suitable environment for the students.
According to Yemen News Agency, Bahr urged the students to take advantage of this opportunity to overcome any difficulties they may have in one or two subjects and join their peers in secondary education. He explained that a total of 3,388 students are taking the supplementary exams in the governorate, distributed across 23 exam centers in various districts.
The education sector official highlighted the importance of creating the appropriate conditions for the success of the examination process and providing the right environment that helps students to perform their exams with ease. He also praised the efforts of the supervisory committees, heads of centers, and educational staff in organizing the exams according to the approved plan.
