Hodeida: Hodeida Governor Abdullah Otayfi inspected the hemodialysis center at Zabid Hospital and reviewed the patients’ conditions and the medical services provided to them. Governor Otayfi listened to an explanation from the hospital administration about the center’s performance, its need for medical supplies, and the efforts of the health staff in providing care to patients despite the challenges.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governor explained that the visit was part of a program of field visits to the districts to review the conditions of health and service facilities and monitor the level of services provided to citizens. The governor directed that the hemodialysis center at Zabid Hospital be supported with 1,000 liters of diesel to operate vital equipment, appreciating the efforts of the medical and administrative staff in continuing to provide services.
He emphasized that field visits to hospitals and service facilities will continue to closely assess their conditions and needs. Governor Otayfi also provided symbolic sums of money to a number of patients.
