HODEIDA: The head of the General Authority for Land, Survey and Urban Planning, Ibrahim Al-Mansour, and the First Deputy Governor of Al-Hodeida Province, Ahmed Al-Bishri, inaugurated a new initiative on Monday aimed at processing and issuing utilization contracts for state lands and real estate in Al-Hodeida.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project involves the reclamation and agricultural empowerment of state lands. The inauguration took place at the authority’s branch in Hodeida, where Al-Mansour highlighted the project’s priorities and the mechanisms for stimulating investment, reclaiming state lands, and optimizing their use for agricultural empowerment.
Al-Mansour emphasized that the initiative aligns with the Authority’s vision to improve the management of state lands for the benefit of local beneficiaries.
In support, Al-Bishri commended the Authority’s efforts in organizing and addressing state land issues and reiterated the commitment of the local authority to back these initiatives. He noted that such efforts are crucial in alleviating the challenges faced by poorer segments of the population in Hodeida.
