Hodeida: The Tender Committee in Hodeida governorate on Monday opened bids for the construction of two milk collection centers in al-Zaydiyah and Bajil districts, with funding estimated at 150.4 million Yemeni riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the committee, chaired by Hodeida first undersecretary Ahmed al-Bashari, reviewed the bid submissions. They verified documentation and procedural compliance before referring the tenders to the technical evaluation committee for further assessment.
The projects are financed by the governorate's Agricultural and Fisheries Projects and Initiatives Funding Unit. These projects aim to support the livestock sector and improve dairy value chains, including collection and cooling processes.
Officials emphasized that the projects align with local development plans. They are intended to enhance agricultural infrastructure while ensuring implementation according to approved technical standards and community needs.
