Hodeida Security Department Hosts Event to Commemorate Prophet’s Birthday

Hodeida: The Security Department of Al-Maraw'ah District in Hodeida Governorate organized a speech event to commemorate the Prophet's birthday. This event was attended by Member of Parliament Osama Qasim, Director of Security of the Eastern Region Colonel Qawan Shuwaian, and Sheikh Abdul Salam Qasra of the Dhaman District.

According to Yemen News Agency, Abdullah Al-Marouni, Director of the District, praised the engagement of both officials and the public, highlighting the significance of the occasion and its importance to the local community. He emphasized the Yemeni people's deep faith and historical ties to the Prophet Muhammad, drawing inspiration from his life for values like patience and support for the oppressed, such as the people of Gaza.

Al-Marouni viewed the celebration as a renewal of loyalty to the Quranic leadership exemplified by Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and as an expression of the Yemeni people's faith-based identity. Sheikh Musa Muafi, head of the Scholars and Learners Unit in the Eastern Square, discussed the faith-based and spiritual significance of the occasion, noting its educational value in recalling the Prophet's biography and its lessons for building a cohesive society.

Colonel Fayed Al-Mawanis, Director of Security of the Directorate, spoke on the importance and legitimacy of commemorating this religious occasion to enhance religious spirit and moral discipline. He stressed the commitment of the security services to maintaining societal stability, drawing strength from the principles of Muhammadan Islam.

The event also featured poems and a play, with attendance from directors of executive offices, mobilization officials, scholars, and social figures.
