Hodeida: Hodeida University and the University Student Forum organized large rallies on Wednesday in support of the leadership and armed forces' choices to end the aggression and blockade imposed on the Yemeni people for the past 12 years.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the rallies, held at the University's Arts and Humanities complexes, the Faculties of Education, Sharia, and Commerce, the College of Education, and the Continuing Education Centers in Bajil and Zabid, chanted slogans supporting the decision to impose a maritime ban on the Saudi enemy and adhering to the principle of responding to the blockade with a blockade and escalation with escalation, in order to secure the rights of the Yemeni people and end the aggression and blockade.
University students and staff, including University Rector Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal, affirmed their solidarity with the brotherly Iraqi people and condemned the attacks that targeted its sovereignty and violated its security. They stressed the importance of standing with the issues of the nation and confronting the schemes that target its security and stability. They condemned the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, and the American aggression against Iran, affirming their support for the causes of the nation and their commitment to confronting the schemes targeting its people.
The participants declared a general mobilization and comprehensive readiness at all levels to participate in the battle to liberate Yemeni lands from occupation, break the siege, and restore legitimate rights, emphasizing their high level of preparedness to join the fronts defending the homeland. A statement issued by the participants affirmed their full support for the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and their support for the Yemeni armed forces in taking all necessary measures to protect the rights of the Yemeni people and confront the imposed siege according to the principle of "siege for siege."
The statement praised the military operations carried out by the armed forces targeting vital sites and facilities deep inside Saudi Arabia, the downing of enemy drones, and the targeting of ships violating the maritime navigation embargo. It urged the peoples of the Arab and Islamic world to take effective action against the destructive projects targeting their resources, affirming continued support for the causes of the nation and ongoing backing of the various fronts of the resistance axis until their objectives are achieved.
It reiterated the readiness of the university's members to implement the directives of the revolutionary leadership and to mobilize efforts to confront challenges and achieve independence and sovereignty. The statement considered the popular and official mobilization of the free people of Yemen in various governorates a message confirming the Yemeni people's commitment to their freedom and dignity and their rejection of all forms of subjugation and guardianship.
