HODEIDA: The Women’s Development Department, the National Women’s Committee, the Women’s Commission, the Yemeni Women’s Union, the female staff of the Health Office, the Martyrs’ Family Welfare Authority, and the women’s sector of the University Student Forum in Hodeida Province organized a speech event on Monday to commemorate the martyr’s anniversary. The event commenced with the reading of Al-Fatiha, honoring the souls of the nation’s martyrs.

According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches delivered during the event expressed pride and honor for all the martyrs’ families who sacrificed their loved ones for the glory of Yemen and the victory over the country’s adversaries. The speakers emphasized the importance of this anniversary as a platform for mobilization, learning, and following the path of the martyrs to ensure Yemen’s safety and independence.

The speeches highlighted the significance of remembering the sacrifices and heroism of the Yemenis who resisted tyranny. They noted that with their faith and
the wisdom of their leadership, Yemenis were able to confront threats and demonstrate to the world that the weapon of will and faith surpasses all destructive weapons used by aggressors against Yemen.

Furthermore, the speeches discussed the meaning of commemorating the martyrs’ memory, aiming to honor and immortalize these individuals. They emphasized the high status God has assigned to the martyrs by granting them paradise, and the importance of acknowledging the sacrifices made by the martyrs and their families.
