Hodeidah: Today, Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atifi inspected the level of job discipline in various service agencies across the governorate, marking the first official workday following the Eid al-Adha holiday. He was accompanied by Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, and the Director of the Civil Service Office, Sadiq Al-Burai.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visits encompassed several key agencies, including the Local Water Corporation, the Land Transport Authority branch, the Geological Survey Authority, and the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund. The delegation focused on assessing work progress, performance mechanisms during the holiday period, and future planning.
Governor Atifi commended the employees for their discipline and service delivery efforts, especially under challenging circumstances. He stressed the need for fostering a culture of commitment and institutional integration within the agencies.
The Director of the Civil Service Office reported that field oversight committees visited 55 government agencies, noting a 90% discipline rate. He further mentioned that these inspections will extend to remaining offices and directorates to ensure continued job discipline.
