Hodeidah:Governor Abdullah Ateifi has inaugurated the first free medical camp at Al-Khokha General Hospital, organized by Al-Thawra General Model Hospital Authority.
According to Yemen News Agency, the week-long camp is part of the celebrations for the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution, offering free diagnostic, medical, and surgical services to vulnerable patients in Al-Khokha and neighboring districts.
The camp provides a wide range of services, including internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, nephrology, dialysis, anesthesia, intensive care, neurosurgery, orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, and emergency and trauma care. Additionally, it offers free imaging, laboratory tests, blood-bank services, prescribed medicines, nursing, and other medical care under the supervision of specialized doctors and consultants.
Governor Ateifi emphasized the significance of these camps in addressing healthcare needs and delivering specialized services to underserved communities, commending the medical teams for their humanitarian contributions.
Hospital Chief Dr. Khaled Al-Madani stated that the camp aims to expand specialized healthcare services to residents of the western coastal districts through qualified medical teams and integrated diagnostic and treatment services.
Local health officials noted that the camp would bolster healthcare services in the western coastal districts and provide patients with free access to specialized diagnostic and medical care.
