Hodeidah Human Rights Office Condemns Saudi Airstrikes on Civilian Facilities

Hodeidah:The National Human Rights Authority's office in Hodeidah Governorate has condemned the Saudi-led airstrikes targeting civilian and vital facilities in the region. These attacks have reportedly been carried out by Saudi enemy aircraft, impacting various infrastructures in the governorate.

According to Yemen News Agency, the office issued a statement highlighting that the airstrikes on locations such as the Ras Issa commercial port, the Faculty of Medicine building, the oil company facility in Bajil District, and residential areas are considered war crimes. The statement elaborates that these actions violate humanitarian norms and international laws.

The statement further asserted that the continued attacks reflect Saudi Arabia's intent to demolish infrastructure in Yemeni governorates, disrupt commercial and educational activities, and deprive citizens of essential services. It criticized the global community's silence, which it claims has allowed the aggressor to continue its attacks on civilian and vital facilities.

The Human Rights Office in Hodeidah holds the Saudi regime responsible for the consequences of these actions, urging the United Nations and other humanitarian and human rights organizations to take immediate action. They called for condemnation of these attacks and accountability for those responsible.
