Sana'a: The University of Al-Hodeidah: In coordination with the University Student Forum, organized a lecture-based event to commemorate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) for the year 1447 AH. The event was held under the slogan 'The Prophet of Allah is Our Role Model.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the university president, Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal, emphasized that the commemoration represents a renewal of love, loyalty, and commitment to Allah, His Messenger, and the Prophet's noble family. This comes at a time when the Yemeni people are engaged in what he described as the battle for promised victory and sacred jihad.
Dr. Al-Ahdal highlighted Yemen's role in offering lessons to the Arab and Islamic nations in fulfilling humanitarian and religious responsibilities. He pointed to the support for brothers and sisters in Gaza against the Zionist entity, the United States, and their allied Western and Arab client regimes as examples of this commitment.
He urged the university community to participate actively in the central event at Martyr Al-Samad Square, encouraging them to project an image worthy of the greatness of the Best of Creation, the Master of Humanity, the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers.
Sheikh Ali Adhabi, Vice President of Dar Al-Uloom Al-Shariah University, representing the scholars, reviewed key milestones from the Prophet's life, underscoring that his character was shaped by the Quran from birth. He noted the current state of the Islamic nation as reflecting humiliation and weakness due to deviation from the Prophet's teachings.
Meanwhile, Abdulrahman Al-Wurfi, Head of the Guidance Sector in the governorate, emphasized that commemorating this occasion strengthens unity, reinforces victories, and encourages emulating the Prophet's virtues and qualities. He affirmed that the Yemeni people's faith in Allah and adherence to the Prophet's path demonstrate endurance, determination, and the spirit of resistance against Zionist and American aggression.
