Sana'a: The Mobilization Committee of the northern districts in Hodeidah Governorate held a meeting on Saturday in Al-Zaidiyah District to discuss preparations for the central celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabawi) for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan 'At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.'
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by Deputy Governor for Assistant Affairs Ghalib Hamzah, Commander of the Northern Axis Major General Fadel Al-Dhiyani, Director of the Zakat Office in the governorate Mohammed Haza'a, Head of Northern District Security Colonel Sadiq Ali Musleh, and Intelligence Officer in the region Munther Al-Hamzi. They reviewed the mobilization plan and organizational arrangements for the event.
The participants approved the distribution of tasks among committee members and concerned sectors, assigning roles and responsibilities to ensure proper preparation for the celebration and to encourage broad public participation in the central event on 12 Rabi' al-Awwal.
The Director of the Zakat Office, who also chairs the committee, stressed that preparing for the central celebration is a collective responsibility requiring unified efforts from both official and popular sides, to ensure the success of the event and highlight the greatness of the occasion for future generations.
The meeting also emphasized the importance of strengthening field coordination among different entities and activating the role of supporting committees in the districts to secure widespread participation befitting the significance of the Prophet's Birthday.
