Houthi Leader Condemns Saudi Actions in Yemen

Sanaa:The Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, has criticized Saudi Arabia for its actions in Yemen, likening its approach to a Zionist method that contradicts Islamic values and international laws. Speaking on the anniversary of the Grand Hall bombing, al-Houthi highlighted the 2016 attack on a funeral in Sanaa, which resulted in over a thousand casualties among Yemenis.

According to Yemen News Agency, al-Houthi accused Saudi Arabia of targeting gatherings with the intent to kill as many people as possible. He labeled the Saudi regime as one of the most adversarial forces against the Arab and Islamic world, questioning its military stance against countries like the United States and Israel.

He cited several incidents, including an attack on a wedding in Sanban, Dhamar, which claimed 43 lives and injured over 70 others, and the use of an internationally prohibited bomb in Ataan. Al-Houthi also mentioned the case of a school bus targeted, which Saudi Arabia claimed was carrying military experts but later revealed to be full of children.

Al-Houthi condemned Saudi Arabia for its ongoing military actions since 2015, which have included targeting civilians, students, and women. He accused the Saudi regime of relying on American and British support for its military campaigns. He also criticized the treatment of prisoners by Saudi-backed military formations, describing it as brutal and un-Islamic.

He claimed that Saudi actions have tarnished its international image, referring to various attacks on civilian locations such as homes and markets. He emphasized the importance of exposing these crimes to the global community.

The Leader of the Revolution concluded by urging the Yemeni people to persist in their struggle against what he described as Saudi aggression, asserting that the Saudi regime is in denial of its crimes against humanity. He argued that the Yemeni people's resilience only grows stronger in the face of such challenges.
