Taiz:The National Human Rights Commission's branch in Taiz has strongly condemned a Saudi airstrike on a passenger bus traveling on the Sharjab-Turba Road, which resulted in the death and injury of eight civilians.
According to Yemen News Agency, the bus was carrying a sick woman who was being transported for medical care due to a stroke. The airstrike tragically claimed the lives of a young man and a woman, led to a miscarriage for a pregnant woman, and injured several other passengers.
The commission labeled the attack on the civilian vehicle as a war crime and a serious breach of international humanitarian law, holding Saudi Arabia fully accountable for the incident. The commission urged the United Nations, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the International Committee of the Red Cross to fulfill their responsibilities and called upon human rights and international organizations to denounce the attack.
