Sana'a: Ibb governorate on Tuesday held a central inaugural event to commemorate the Day of al-Wilayah (Guardianship) for the year 1446 AH. The event was attended by General Mobilization Officer Abdulfattah Ghallab and featured a speech by Sheikh Muqbil al-Kadahi, a member of the League of Scholars.
According to Yemen News Agency, Sheikh Muqbil al-Kadahi highlighted the significant status of Imam Ali, emphasizing his role, closeness, and standing with the Messenger of Allah. He noted that Sunni texts, in addition to Shiite texts, confirm the greatness of Imam Ali's status. Sheikh al-Kadahi urged for a sincere return to allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali, as he believes it is the correct path to restoring the nation's glory and dignity, which he claims are now under external control.
Director of the Guidance Office Ahmed al-Muhajir also spoke at the event, reviewing aspects of Imam Ali's stature, his biography, courage, knowledge, and historical experiences under the Prophet's care.
