Sana’a: The governorate of Ibb witnessed popular demonstrations in various districts following Friday prayers, under the slogan “Our Monitoring Continues, Our Readiness is High,” reaffirming steadfast support for the Palestinian people and the causes of the Ummah. Participants in the demonstrations emphasized the continuation of mobilization activities and training sessions, raising the level of preparedness to confront any escalation by the enemies. They stressed the importance of increasing public awareness of the threats facing the Ummah.
According to Yemen News Agency, a statement issued on the demonstrations described the ongoing crimes of the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people as blatant violations of all ethical, humanitarian values and international charters, noting that since the ceasefire on 11 October, 618 people have been martyred and 1,663 injured. The statement condemned the Zionist insistence on storming and desecrating Al-Aqsa Mosque and obstructing the entry of humanitarian aid, which has exacerbated the suffering of the Palestinian people.
It also highlighted that the Israeli aggression against Lebanon, amid clear U.S. support, reveals attempts to threaten global security and stability through criminal alliances, aircraft and carrier mobilizations, and psychological and media warfare, stressing that monitoring of U.S., Israeli moves in the region and worldwide continues, with high readiness to respond to escalation with stronger measures.
The statement strongly denounced the U.S. ambassador’s remarks about ‘handing the Middle East to the Jews,’ calling on the peoples of the Arab, Islamic nations to take to the streets to reject and condemn such Zionist schemes targeting their existence and freedom. It emphasized the religious, moral duty to boycott American, Israeli goods, contribute to charitable campaigns, support community kitchens, and participate in Ramadan meals.
Finally, the statement called for participation in the campaign ‘Today’s Seed, Tomorrow’s Palm,’ launching tomorrow, Saturday, by collecting date seeds instead of discarding them and delivering them to the relevant authorities.
