Ibb Executive Office Prepares for Martyr’s Anniversary Commemoration for 1447 AH

Ibb: The Executive Office in Ibb province, under the leadership of Governor Abdulwahid Salah, convened a meeting to discuss preparations for the annual Martyr's Anniversary for the year 1447 AH.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by key officials including First Deputy Governor Abdulhamid al-Shahari, Mobilization Official Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, and Secretary-General of Ibb University Abdulmalik al-Saqqaf. The focal point of the discussion was the executive plan presented by Mohammed al-Masawi, Director of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs' Families, which outlined task assignments and preparation for the commemorative activities.

Representatives from the Martyrs' Care Authority across various districts also participated, deliberating on the role of executive offices in organizing events and supporting the Authority's efforts to assist martyrs' families. The attendees agreed on a program involving official and community visits to martyrs' families and cemeteries. They also decided to establish an operations room to facilitate the formation of community committees at district and sub-district levels.

Governor Salah highlighted the importance of honoring the Martyr's Anniversary in a manner that reflects the sacrifices made by the martyrs, particularly the founding martyr, Sayyed Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi. He emphasized that the occasion should underscore the impact of jihad and martyrdom on national victory and protection. Governor Salah reiterated the commitment of the local authority to support martyrs' families, aligning with directives from the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council.

He urged all government entities to implement the outlined activities and collaborate with the Martyrs' Care Authority to maintain cemeteries and display portraits of martyrs. He also appealed to the private sector and society at large to contribute to the commemoration's success and support the families of martyrs.

Director Al-Masawi detailed preparations for the Martyr's Anniversary events, including seminars, cultural programs, photo exhibitions, cemetery visits, recreational trips for children, and distribution of gifts to 4,000 martyr families. He emphasized the importance of this occasion in honoring the sacrifices of martyrs and updating family data through field visits.
