Sana'a: Ibb governor Abdulwahid Salah welcomed six released prisoners from the governorate, who were freed from the detention centers of the aggression forces and their mercenaries on the West Coast. During the reception, Governor Salah emphasized the attention paid by the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the local authority to the issue of prisoners and the missing. He highlighted their commitment to exerting efforts and pursuing measures to ensure the release of all prisoners and the return of the missing to their families.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah praised the heroic stances and steadfastness demonstrated by the released prisoners during their captivity, as well as their resilience in the face of the practices of the aggression forces and their mercenaries. Salah affirmed that the actions and sacrifices recorded by the prisoners and the heroes of the army would remain a testament to the greatness of national steadfastness in confronting the aggression and its schemes.
Ibb governor stated that securing the release of prisoners is a national and humanitarian duty toward those who made sacrifices for the sake of God and the homeland. He added that the prisoner issue would remain a top priority for the leadership and the local authority until all prisoners are freed.
For his part, the governorate's General Mobilization Official, Abdulfattah Ghallab, expressed pride in the steadfastness and resilience demonstrated by these men during their captivity. He affirmed that the suffering they endured would not diminish their determination or will to continue on the path of sacrifice and dedication.
Gallab noted that the release of the prisoners represents a victory for the will to persevere and remain steadfast, affirming that the sacrifices made on the battlefields were not in vain. He emphasized that the people would remain loyal to the prisoners and those released, and supportive of their families and loved ones, in recognition of the sacrifices they made for the sake of the homeland.
For their part, the released prisoners expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the governorate's leadership and local authorities for the warm reception and the care shown to them. They affirmed that the hardships endured during their captivity would only strengthen their resolve and readiness to continue serving in the arenas of honor and dignity.
