Ibb Governorate Officials Inspect Summer Course Activities in Educational Centers

Aden: The mobilization official in Ibb Governorate, Abdulftah Ghalab, along with the governorate's education sector official Mohammed Al-Ghazali, conducted an inspection of summer course activities across several districts, emphasizing the importance of student attendance in educational centers.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials, joined by the education sector official in Al-Makhader District, Mohammed Al-Omari, and mobilization official Hafez Hajar, assessed the activities at summer centers in schools such as Khadija bint Khuwaylid, Martyr Zaid Ali Musleh, Asia bint Muzahim, and Martyr Hajar in Al-Makhader. They gathered feedback from center supervisors about the programs, student engagement, and benefits derived from the religious and cultural offerings.

In Habish District, the review extended to schools including Osama bin Zaid, Sumayya, Al-Jeel Al-Jadeed, and Khawla bint Al-Azwar. Local and educational leaders were present, highlighting strong community participation and the significant turnout as indicators of the growing recognition of summer schools' role in nurturing future generations.

The officials also visited the Al-Ihsan summer center in Rural Ibb District, commending the dedication of those involved in ensuring educational success and instilling religious and cultural values in youth. The mobilization official noted the high turnout as a reflection of community awareness regarding the programs' importance, viewing summer schools as comprehensive educational environments focused on teaching the Holy Quran and fostering students' religious and cultural values.

He emphasized that the summer centers play a crucial role in safeguarding youth and enhancing their scientific and intellectual capabilities, urging ongoing support from officials and the community to achieve the courses' objectives. Mohammed Al-Ghazali, the education sector official, called for increased efforts to enhance summer programs to advance students' knowledge and skills.

Mohammed Al-Omari highlighted parental awareness of the programs' significance in child development, acknowledging the support from various entities in the success of summer centers. Meanwhile, Khaled Al-Maliki, the education sector official in Habish District, observed the rising enrollment in summer centers, affirming that these courses offer educational and skill-based activities that aid in student development and future preparation.
