Sana'a: The Great Prophet Square in Ibb City was the venue for a central celebration marking Eid al-Ghadir, dedicated to commemorating the Day of al-Wilayah of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including Ibb governor Abdulwahid Salah, Deputy Ministers of Education Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, and Justice Judge Ibrahim al-Shami. The celebration emphasized the significance of Imam Ali's al-Wilayah as a continuation of the Prophet's and God Almighty's guardianship.

Judge al-Shami underscored the importance of genuine and practical loyalty, asserting that the Yemeni people's commitment to the path of guardianship has played a crucial role in Yemen's achievements against "global arrogance" and in supporting Gaza. He further highlighted that adherence to this path safeguards the nation from deviation and allegiance to its historical adversaries, specifically mentioned as the Jews and Christians.

Abdulfattah Ghallab, the governorate's mobilization official, presented a review of Imam Ali's life, focusing on his courageous actions and his pivotal role in upholding the Islamic faith. He elaborated that allegiance to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali is not just a theoretical belief but a practical and behavioral commitment. Dr. Muhammad Murshid further delved into the concept of guardianship, its significance, and the advantages of returning to it. He noted that the "culture of Ghadir" offers a framework that maintains the nation's authenticity.
