Ibb: Commemorative events marking the annual Martyrs' Day were held across Ibb governorate, including speeches, exhibitions, and visits to the families of martyrs.
According to Yemen News Agency, in al-Qafr district, a ceremony highlighted the importance of honoring the sacrifices of martyrs and supporting their families. The event, attended by local officials including Abdul Fattah Ghalab and Muhammad Abdulbaqi al-Masawa, featured speeches praising the valor of martyrs and their role in defending dignity and supporting the oppressed.
The ceremony was followed by the inauguration of a martyrs' exhibition and a visit to the district's Martyrs' Cemetery, where participants recited al-Fatiha.
Similarly, deputy governors Harith al-Maliki and Jamal al-Humairi, along with local officials, opened a martyrs' photo exhibition for the western districts of Ibb-Al-Odain, al-Far?, al-Hazm, and Mudhikhra-honoring the sacrifices of those who defended the nation against aggression.
In al-Qafar district, a ceremony under the theme 'Martyrdom: A Divine Reward for Sacrifice' was held, featuring speeches, poetry, and recitals emphasizing the role of martyrs and the duty to support their families. The event concluded with the opening of a martyrs' exhibition at al-Sammad School and a visit to the local Martyrs' Cemetery.
