Sana'a: Ibb governorate has launched four comprehensive cleanliness and environmental awareness campaigns in the city to prepare for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. The initiatives, organized under the slogan "Cleanliness is a Faithful Commitment and a Civilized Behavior," aim to clean streets, neighborhoods, and promote environmental awareness.

According to Yemen News Agency, the cleanliness campaigns, coordinated by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund with official and community participation, focus on cleaning all streets and residential areas across Ibb city and its districts. In addition, the campaigns seek to instill environmental awareness by emphasizing the importance of cleanliness as a cultural and civic responsibility.

At the campaign launch, Ibb Governor Abdulwahid Salah described the cleanliness initiatives as a shared community responsibility that reflects the commitment to preparing cities and neighborhoods for Ramadan in a healthy and spiritually fitting environment. He stressed the need for continued cleanliness efforts beyond the seasonal campaigns to foster a long-lasting culture of environmental care and enhance the governorate's image as a civilized and clean place.

Governor Salah also highlighted the significance of the call by the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, to begin Ramadan with cleanliness campaigns. This call, he noted, reflects the focus on strengthening the faith-based identity, religious values, and civilized principles of maintaining cleanliness and incorporating it into daily community life.

The Governor urged the involvement of all official, local, security, military leaders, and every segment of the community to support the work of cleaning staff and ensure the success of the campaigns. By doing so, he emphasized that the efforts would contribute to achieving the goals of the campaigns and leave a positive, lasting impact on the city's cleanliness.
