Ibb Tourist Resort Inaugurated with Eight Billion Riyals Investment

Ibb: Ibb Governor Abdul Wahid Salah inaugurated the Ibb Tourism Resort project in the Haratha area of the province center. Governor Salah, alongside the provincial deputy for the tourism sector, Harith al-Maliki, and the deputy mobilization official in the province, Kamal al-Waeli, received a detailed explanation from the project’s investor about the resort’s main features. These include villas, a health club, chalets, a children’s playground, swimming pools, a hotel, and a tourist restaurant.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Salah highlighted the commitment of the local authority leadership to provide all necessary facilities for investors in the tourism sector. This effort aims to bolster the role of tourism in supporting the national economy, emphasizing the benefits of the new investment law and its significance in revitalizing tourism and investment activities.

Ghanem Awsaj, the head of the tourism sector in the province, commended the local authority leadership’s support and dedication to promoting tourism and investment. He noted that Ibb province boasts natural and tourism assets, alongside a promising investment environment. Awsaj underscored the project’s role in invigorating domestic tourism and creating job opportunities for hundreds of workers, as well as its contribution to completing infrastructure projects that encourage tourism investments.
