Muscat: A comprehensive meeting was held on Tuesday at Ibb University to discuss mechanisms for implementing training programs for the academic and administrative staff of Dhale' University and to exchange expertise within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between the two universities.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, which was attended by the Rector of Dhale' University, Dr. Ali Al-Tariq, and the Vice Rectors of Ibb University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Fallahi, and for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum, approved the preparation of specialized training programs in the areas of quality and academic development, in addition to courses targeting student affairs staff.
This initiative aims to contribute to raising the efficiency of administrative and academic performance and to benefit from Ibb University's experience in the field of digital transformation and automation.
The Rector of Dhale' University praised the role played by Ibb University in developing the educational process and enhancing the quality of academic and administrative performance. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two universities and the exchange of expertise, which contributes to raising the level of higher education and scientific research and serving academic institutions.
He pointed out that the joint training programs represent a practical step towards benefiting from successful experiences and developing staff capabilities, thereby enhancing institutional performance and keeping pace with the development requirements of the higher education sector.
Furthermore, the leaders of the two universities held a discussion session with the deans of the Development and Quality Assurance Centers at Ibb University, Dr. Mohammed Al-Qawas, and Dhale' University, Dr. Saif Al-Dubaisi, to develop initial plans for implementing the training programs and future areas of cooperation.
