Sanaa: Ibb University on Thursday launched competitive entrance exams for students seeking admission to its College of Medicine and Health Sciences and College of Dentistry for the academic year 1447 AH. University Rector Dr. Nasr al-Hujaili emphasized that the competitive process ensures fairness, transparency, and accurate evaluation, aligning with the university's strategy for quality medical education. He highlighted the university's recent achievements in infrastructure and equipment upgrades.
According to Yemen News Agency, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Ahmed Abu Luhum confirmed that 2,072 applicants are competing for medical seats across various enrollment systems. Abu Luhum noted that electronic grading is currently underway, with preliminary results expected to be announced on Thursday via the university's official platforms.
Dr. al-Hujaili also encouraged students who are not admitted to medical specialties to explore other programs offered by the university, highlighting the diverse educational opportunities available.
