Sana'a: Students residing in dormitories at Ibb University held on Monday a large rally to condemn the Saudi aggression against Sana'a International Airport. During the rally, which was attended by the Vice Rector of the University for Student Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Abu Lahoum, the Director of Student Housing, Ali Al-Warafi, and representatives of the Student Forum, participants chanted slogans denouncing the Saudi aggression against Sana'a Airport, which they described as an extension of the aggression against Yemen since 2015.
According to Yemen News Agency, the students expressed their pride in the awareness of the youth and students in confronting challenges, emphasizing the importance of the educational and academic front in countering the conspiracies targeting Yemen, its sovereignty, and its identity. A statement issued at the rally affirmed that the arrogance of the enemies will only increase the Yemeni people's steadfastness and determination in confronting the tyrants of our time and upholding their legitimate rights.
The statement emphasized complete readiness and unwavering support for the revolutionary and political leadership and the heroes of the armed forces, declaring their willingness to sacrifice everything in defense of their land and honor. It called upon all student and youth groups in various universities to escalate their cultural and awareness-raising activities, exposing the crimes of the aggression and its unjust siege to international public opinion.
