Ibb: The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Ibb University, in collaboration with the Student Forum, organized a commemorative event on Thursday to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad. This event also marked the welcoming of new students and the recognition of outstanding students for the 1447 AH academic year.
According to Yemen News Agency, Assistant Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Dr. Al-Ezzi Al-Aqab emphasized the significance of learning from the Prophet's life and values. He encouraged students to integrate these lessons into their academic and personal development.
During the event, Faculty Dean Dr. Bashir Al-Amwi extended a warm welcome to the new students, urging them to strive for academic excellence, maintain discipline, and uphold professional ethics. He highlighted the humanitarian responsibilities inherent in the medical profession.
The ceremony also included discussions on the importance of the Prophet's biography, underscoring the need to enhance awareness and commitment to Islamic values.
