Ibb Water Sector Celebrates Al-Wilayah Day and Badr al-Din al-Houthi’s Legacy

Sana'a: The Local Water and Sanitation Corporation, along with branches of the Water Resources, Water Facilities, and Rural Water Projects authorities in Ibb governorate, organized an event on Tuesday to observe al-Wilayah Day and commemorate the anniversary of the death of the religious scholar Badr al-Din al-Houthi.

According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by local officials and representatives from various sectors who emphasized the religious importance of Wilayah Day. They reflected on the principles of justice, responsibility, and public service, drawing inspiration from Imam Ali bin Abi Talib.

In addition to marking al-Wilayah Day, speakers at the event paid tribute to the enduring legacy of Badr al-Din al-Houthi. They highlighted his significant contributions to religious education, Quranic culture, and community awareness. His intellectual and educational endeavors continue to influence the promotion of religious identity and social values.
