Az zahir: The Al Humiqan Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Association was inaugurated today in Az Zahir District, Al Bayda Governorate.
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including the Deputy Governor, Mohammed Al-Humaigani; the Head of the Agriculture Sector in the governorate, Engineer Mohammed Al-Haidari; and the Director of Az Zahir District, Ibrahim Al-Humaigani. During the inauguration, the association's draft bylaws were approved. Additionally, the administrative board and oversight and inspection committee were elected with the participation of more than 208 members. A representative from the Social Affairs and Labor Office was also present at the event.
Deputy Governor Al-Humaigani emphasized the significance of activating the role of agricultural associations as a critical partner in local development. He highlighted the importance of involving community leaders in setting priorities for projects. Furthermore, he noted the governorate leadership's commitment to enhancing the activities of agricultural cooperative associations across various districts. The aim is to utilize all available capabilities and strive to achieve the desired outcomes for the community's development.
