Inauguration of Al-Saeed Educational Clinics Wings Marks Significant Milestone at Ibb University

Ibb: The President of Ibb University, Dr. Nasser Al-Hajili, inaugurated the Al-Saeed Educational Clinics Wings at the Faculty of Dentistry, comprising 20 clinics provided by the Ha'il Saeed An'am Group of Companies. The event coincided with the commemoration of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi).

According to Yemen News Agency, the old clinics at the faculty were also reopened following maintenance and rehabilitation works, which included 70 clinics. These efforts encompassed the expansion of several clinics, maintenance of dental chairs, equipment, and electrical extensions, as well as the rehabilitation of dental laboratories. This initiative aims to enhance the faculty's readiness for training, practical application, and the provision of medical services to the community.

Dr. Al-Hajili highlighted that the opening of the new clinics and the rehabilitation of existing ones serve as a significant enhancement to the educational and clinical training systems at the Faculty of Dentistry. This development strengthens the faculty's ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby improving the quality of academic outputs and medical services provided to community members.

He expressed gratitude for the support provided by the Ha'il Saeed An'am Group of Companies, acknowledging their contributions to the educational and applied infrastructure. This support enables the university to continue its efforts toward achieving academic quality and accreditation standards.

Dr. Al-Hajili also praised the efforts of the faculty leadership and staff in executing the maintenance and rehabilitation works. He emphasized their commitment to developing the educational and training environment, offering students broader opportunities for practical application, and restoring the clinics' role in providing therapeutic services to citizens. He affirmed that the ongoing development and equipment enhancements at the faculty reflect a serious commitment to meeting modern medical education requirements and academic quality and accreditation standards.

He noted that the upcoming phase will involve continued support for the faculty to fulfill academic and clinical development requirements and to work on preparing an environment conducive to expanding postgraduate programs, in accordance with approved academic standards.

The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Bassam Abu Talib, his deputy Dr. Sadiq Al-Tayyar, and the former dean Dr. Mukhtar Al-Damini, confirmed that the achievements in development and rehabilitation are the result of diligent follow-up by the university leadership. They view this as an incentive for the faculty leadership and staff to proceed with completing academic accreditation requirements and to work on opening postgraduate programs in the Master's track, upon finalizing academic descriptions and meeting necessary conditions and standards.
