Hajjah: The Hajjah branch of the General Authority for Martyrs’ Families Welfare inaugurated an Eid clothing project for 5,867 children of martyrs and missing persons in Hajjah province. The project was launched on Thursday, marking a significant event for the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration was attended by Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Akhfesh, the head of the Grievance Redressal Authority, Judge Abdulmajid Sharaf al-Din, and the director of the Martyrs’ Families Welfare Authority branch, Mutahar Safiuddin. They officially opened the Eid clothing exhibition intended for the martyrs’ families.
During the inauguration, Al-Akhfesh and Judge Sharaf al-Din commended the revolutionary leadership for its commitment to supporting the martyrs’ families. They acknowledged the Martyrs’ Families Welfare Authority’s efforts in implementing beneficial projects for these families.
The event was also attended by the director of the province’s economy, industry, and investment office, Mahmoud Wahban, and the deputy mobilization officer for the city’s directorate square, Hassan al-Assi. Director Mutahar Safieddine and his deputy, Ashraf al-Azzi, highlighted that the project is part of a series of initiatives by the authority for martyrs’ families and missing persons, coinciding with the holy month.
They noted that 21 exhibitions have been set up in the province center and districts to aid the children of martyrs and missing persons. Additionally, financial support amounting to 25,000 riyals is provided for Eid clothing to 582 children of martyrs and missing persons in Tihama.
It was emphasized that sponsorships for the children of martyrs and missing persons were disbursed at the end of Shaaban and will be provided again at the conclusion of the holy month, benefiting not only the children but also the martyrs’ parents.
