Dhamar: The head of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority, Major General Ali Hussein Debeish, and the Director of Security of Dhamar Governorate, Brigadier General Muhammad Ghaleb Al-Mahdi, inaugurated an expansion project for the Authority’s branch in the governorate. The project, funded by the local authority, cost 20.6 million riyals.
According to Yemen News Agency, the expansion aims to facilitate citizens’ access to services, reduce congestion, and expedite the issuance of official documents by using the latest technology. Major General Debeish highlighted that the project aligns with the state’s vision to improve government services and bolster citizens’ confidence in official institutions.
Dhamar’s security chief underscored the importance of establishing additional civil status branches in various districts to alleviate pressure on the province’s center. The branch manager, Colonel Abdul Karim Al Bukhaiti, mentioned that the expansion will help in speeding up the completion of transactions and in delivering more efficient services to citizens.
