Bayda: The Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment in Bayda governorate recently destroyed ten tons of expired dairy and food products. This action was part of an ongoing effort to ensure food safety and compliance with health regulations within the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Director of the Office of Economy and Industry in the governorate, Ahmed al-Tahiri, explained that these products were seized during inspection and monitoring campaigns. These campaigns were conducted by the office and its branches across various districts.
Al-Tahiri detailed that the destroyed items included dairy products, soft drinks, and other food items. The confiscation of these products was carried out by the office’s diligent inspection teams. The destruction process followed the completion of all necessary procedures and was overseen by representatives from relevant authorities to ensure transparency and adherence to regulations.
He also confirmed the ongoing commitment to market monitoring campaigns throughout the governorate’s center and districts, emphasizing the importance of maintaining public health standards.
