Yarim: The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development for the Plans and Budgets Sector, Khaled Al-Khazan, inspected the progress of work in several community initiatives projects in the roads sector in Yareem District, Ibb Governorate. He was accompanied by the Secretary-General of the Agricultural Union, Eng. Muhammad Al-Qahoum, the Deputy General Mobilization Officer in the governorate, Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Waeli, and the Director of the Directorate, Muhammad Al-Khaled.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit covered projects for the construction and paving of roads, including the significant Dhi Yahloul Road in the isolation of Bani Saba, which has reached its eighth phase with an expenditure of 17 million riyals. Another key project is the Al-Azazi Road, which is being paved with concrete over a length of 3 kilometers, with support from the Central Emergency Intervention Unit providing cement.
The delegation also reviewed the progress of the road project in the village of Djerba Al-Bayt in the isolation of Aryab, which spans 1.5 kilometers and is 50% complete. Additionally, they assessed the construction and paving of the road in the village of Mawah in the isolation of Bani Manba, stretching 2 kilometers, and the ongoing work at Mawah School.
The officials were briefed by community committees on the efforts by citizens to supply stones and sand, emphasizing the need for continued support from the Emergency Intervention Unit with cement to finalize projects benefiting thousands of families.
Undersecretary Al-Khazan expressed approval of the community initiatives, highlighting their role in fostering development and improving rural services. He noted the significant community engagement in the directorate, aiming to maximize the available support.
The Director of the Directorate emphasized the ongoing commitment to activating government and community initiatives in sectors such as roads, agriculture, and water to drive regional development.
