Inspection of Basic Certificate Exams in Ibb

Ibb: The Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hatem Al-Daeis, along with the Secretary General of the Local Council in Ibb province, Amin Al-Warafi, conducted an inspection on Sunday to assess the progress of the general basic certificate exams for the year 1446 AH across several test centers.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inspection team, which also included the province's General Mobilization Officer, Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, visited various centers including Al-Wahda in Ibb city, Al-Shaab, Al-Thawra, Wafa Idris, Al-Shura in Al-Dhahar district, and Arwa center in Al-Dhahar district. The Deputy Minister commended the efforts made in preparation for the exams and emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and organization to ensure the success of the testing process.

During the inauguration, Dr. Al-Daeis highlighted the necessity of summer courses that emphasize Qur'anic culture, aiming to instill values and principles of the true religion while countering intellectual and cultural invasions intended to dilute the faith-based identity.

Amin Al-Warafi, the Secretary-General, underscored the significance of these summer courses in protecting young people from misleading cultural influences and making productive use of their leisure time. He noted that such courses play a vital role in developing a knowledgeable and faith-driven generation.

Abdul-Fattah Ghallab, the mobilization official, reiterated the need for collective cooperation to ensure the success of the summer sessions. He emphasized their role in educating youth in useful sciences, imparting valuable knowledge and skills, promoting good behavior, and engaging them in cultural, sports, and social activities that reinforce their faith-based identity.
