Inspection of Community Initiatives Progress in Bani Matar, Sana’a

Sana’a: The representative of the Central Emergency Interventions Unit (CEIU) in Sana’a province, Engineer Osama Al-Shami, together with Yahya Al-Qanous, the Director of Bani Matar District in Sana’a province, inspected the progress of several community initiatives in the Al-Hadab district and Bani Qais quarter.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shami and Al-Qanous examined the level of completion of work on the road in the village of Al-Hussein in Bani Swar district, as well as the main road connecting multiple villages in Al-Hadab district to the asphalt line in Al-Aman market. They also addressed the community’s role in supporting the intervention unit’s efforts to repair the road and the challenges faced in ensuring the initiative’s continued success.

During the visits, Al-Shami and Al-Qanous underscored the local authority’s commitment to collaborating with relevant authorities to support community efforts and provide necessary facilities and resources. This support is particularly focused on community initiatives related to roads and water infrastructure, within the limits of what is feasible.

They highlighted the crucial role of community involvement in activating initiatives and collaborating with official bodies to achieve sustainable development, especially given the current national circumstances.

Al-Qanous commended the Central Emergency Intervention Unit’s efforts and its pivotal role in supporting community projects and local authority leadership in executing various community initiative projects related to road development.
