Hodeidah: The Assistant Undersecretary for Northern Directorates Affairs in Hodeidah Governorate, Ghaleb Hamza, examined the extent of the damage caused by rising sea levels to citizens' homes in the coastal city of Al-Khubah in Al-Luhayyah District. During the visit, Undersecretary Hamza listened to complaints from citizens affected by seawater seeping into low-lying neighborhoods, resulting in damage to homes and property.
According to Yemen News Agency, the visit aimed to assess the immediate needs of the residents and to plan for potential measures to mitigate further damage. The affected citizens expressed concerns about the ongoing threat posed by the rising sea levels and urged for prompt action to safeguard their homes and livelihoods.
