Ibb: Dr. Badr Al-Farah, Head of the Technical Education Sector in Ibb Governorate, conducted an inspection on Tuesday of the 'My Craft, My Future' training courses offered in summer schools at the governorate center.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Farah was joined by Munir Al-Nuwaira, Head of Human Resources at the General Mobilization in the governorate, and Eng. Imad Ghamdan, Dean of Al-Samad Technical Industrial Institute. Together, they evaluated practical activities at several schools, including Rajeh Labouza Complex, Khalid Ibn Al-Walid, 30 November, Al-Thagha schools, and Khadijah School. These activities focused on areas such as electricity, mechanics, sewing, decoration, programming, and flower-making.
Al-Farah stated that the courses play a crucial role in shielding youth from misguided cultures while fostering awareness, religious values, and national consciousness. He noted that the strong participation and discipline observed during the courses are indicative of the program's success in equipping young people with professional skills necessary for integration into the labor market.
He also mentioned the significance of the program in advancing technical and applied education, stressing the need for continuous development and expansion of training programs to align with developmental needs.
Al-Nuwaira commended the variety of specializations offered, pointing out their relevance to market demands and the importance of supporting and expanding these programs. Ghamdan observed that the initiative has become a national project for skill development and youth empowerment, contributing to sustainable economic growth.
