Inspection of Performance and Workflow at Yemeni Standards Authority Branch in Dhamar

Dhamar: The Executive Director of the Yemeni Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control Organization (YSMO), Abdullah Al-Atfi, conducted an inspection today focusing on the performance and regulatory and technical activities of the Authority's branch in Dhamar Governorate. Al-Atfi was briefed by Abdulbasit Al-Jarmouzi, Director of the Dhamar branch, on the branch's mechanisms for fieldwork and the efforts of specialized teams in monitoring goods and products to ensure compliance with quality standards.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Director General of YSMO emphasized the importance of improving field performance, enhancing market monitoring, and adhering to technical and administrative regulations. These measures aim to boost work efficiency and maintain the quality of products available in the market. Al-Atfi lauded the staff's efforts in performing their duties amid current challenges and affirmed the Authority's commitment to developing its infrastructure. This development is part of a broader strategy for continuous improvement and quality assurance.

In addition, Al-Atfi inspected operations at the Dhamar Customs Monitoring Center, furthering his field follow-up of the Authority's branches and affiliated centers. During this visit, Fahd Haza'a, the Center's Director, provided a briefing on the workflow, inspection procedures for goods and shipments, and the staff's efforts in implementing technical monitoring tasks. Al-Atfi commended the center's staff, underscoring the need to strengthen discipline and apply quality standards in monitoring efforts to protect consumers and support the national economy.
