Inspection of Preparations in Sana’a for Scouting Festival on September 21 Revolution Anniversary

Sana'a: The Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Obbad, today inspected the level of preparations and arrangements in Al-Tahrir Square in the capital Sana'a for holding the scouting festival in celebration of the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution. According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Obbad received a briefing from Engineer Abdul Salam Al-Jaradi, the director of the Works Office in the Secretariat, regarding the preparation of the main platform and the square for the carnival and youth parades. These events are organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports along with the Scouts and Guides Association to mark this national occasion. Dr. Obbad emphasized that the September 21 Revolution was pivotal in ending foreign control and occupation over Yemen, marking a significant milestone in the country's pursuit of pride, dignity, and national sovereignty. He highlighted that the revolution's core achievements include freedom, independence, and liberation from all forms of foreign dominance, steering the nation towards identifying and confronting its primary adversaries, namely America and Israel. He further noted that the revolution has fortified Yemen with a deterrent force against aggression and has built strong armed forces with a faith-based doctrine. This, he stated, has enabled Yemen's hypersonic missiles and drones to reach the depths of the Israeli entity in occupied Palestine, as a testament to the country's enhanced defense capabilities. Dr. Obbad remarked that this celebration aligns with the significant victories achieved by the Yemeni Armed Forces in their ongoing battle for liberation, independence, and the restoration of national sovereignty. He reiterated the commitment of the Yemeni people to continue their fight against the Saudi adversary until the cessation of aggression and siege and the recovery of their legitimate rights. Additionally, key officials including Amin Jumaan, Secretary-General of the Local Council of the Capital Secretariat, Engineer Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, Undersecretary of the Secretariat for the Works Sector, Engineer Abdullah Rawiyah, Assistant Undersecretary, Mohammed Ahmed, the Secretariat's Advisor, and Naji Al-Shayani, director of Al-Tahrir District, also evaluated the progress of service works and preparations in Al-Tahrir Square.
