Taiz: The mobilization official in Taiz Governorate, Mohammed Al-Khalidi, inspected the activities of summer courses in the districts of Khadir and Salh. Al-Khalidi was joined by officials including the directors of the Endowments and Guidance Office, Mohammed Al-Mulaiki, Salh District Director Mohammed Mohsen, the mobilization official in Khadir District Nasser Al-Hamdani, and Khadir District Security Director Colonel Issam Sabr.
According to Yemen News Agency, the team reviewed the activities at several centers, including Al-Shaheed Al-Sammad Gharab and Zain Al-Abidin in Khadir District, as well as Abdulkhaleq Al-Sarari and Al-Shaheed Adi Al-Jahlani in Salh District. The visitors listened to student recitations of the Holy Quran and tajweed, noting the benefits students gained from the programs. They expressed praise for the increased participation in this year's summer schools and the engagement with the Holy Quran, its sciences, and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.
The visiting officials emphasized that summer courses offer a crucial opportunity for youth to learn about Quranic culture and sciences, providing protection from influences that might undermine their faith identity. They underscored the importance of enhancing academic performance and raising awareness, stating that these courses are not just seasonal activities. Instead, they represent a religious, educational, and developmental investment in shaping individuals and creating a future more aligned with Quranic teachings amidst external challenges.
