Inspection of Summer Courses at Al-Thawra District Schools

Sana'a: Members of Parliament Mohammed Al-Touqi and Yahya Al-Mahdi, along with Sharaf Al-Hadi, Head of the Planning Committee at the Capital Secretariat, and Dr. Qanaf Al-Marani, Deputy Secretary, inspected the progress of summer courses at schools in Al-Thawra District. They were accompanied by the Secretariat's Director of Resources, Mohammed Ibrahim, the district's Public Mobilization Officer, Saddam Al-Hababi, the Secretary-General of the Local Council, Issam Al-Qaifi, the Director of the Educational Zone, Amin Salah, and the Educational Zone's Mobilization Officer, Abdulwahab Al-Nashri. The inspection included visits to Owsan School, Al-Itqan School, and Al-Amoudi Mosque School, where summer activities and programs were reviewed.

According to Yemen News Agency, the visiting officials received briefings from course organizers regarding the student turnout and engagement in the programs and activities. The officials expressed their approval of the student attendance and the efforts made to encourage participation in the summer courses. They highlighted the role of these courses in preventing neglect and deviation among children and in reinforcing their religious identity and Qur'anic knowledge.

The officials urged for ongoing mobilization to boost the enrollment of students who have not yet participated. They emphasized the benefits of these courses in instilling values and morals, developing skills, fostering creativity, and broadening students' knowledge.
